Happy Valentines Day!!

We had such a fun time at both our Fairy Tale Celebration & Valentine's Party ... thanks for sending in valentines & treats for our "make-your-own sundaes."  Here are a few photos from our festivities:

All the children were "knighted" as princes or princesses of kindness at JELV by Mrs. Brannen.

   The children had so much fun doing the dances, Ms. Rhoads (our gym teacher) taught them.

100th Day of School!!

     We are 100 days smarter!!

     Thank you for sending in bags of 100 items.  The children did a great job guessing which one was heavier ... some were very tricky to guess.

      Our 100th Day Trail Mix was yummy and a great way to visualize counting by tens.

All aboard the Polar Express!

Here we are waiting to board the Polar Express.  This is a JELV tradition ... coming to school in pajamas, boarding "the train," and hearing the Polar Express read aloud on the iboard.  Choo, choo!

Ms. Jessie was our conductor.  She gave us each a ticket with our seat number.  The kids loved trying to match their tickets to the seats.

Here's a peek at some of the cute gingerbread houses the children created.  Yummy!

Stone Soup & Thanksgiving

Thank you for contributing canned goods to create our own Stone Soup.  We had fun making the soup & eating it. Enjoy these pictures of your kids!

Can you believe today is November 1?  It is hard to believe we've been together at JELV for 50 days as of yesterday.  I am really enjoying teaching your children and seeing their progress.  Thank you for partnering with us at home by working with your children.  You are doing a wonderful job!
